Art Awards - 2005

Art Machine has sponsored regional competition for The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards program for 10 years.  Over 4,500 pieces of art are submitted each year from young artists in grades 7-12 from Cincinnati, Dayton and northern Kentucky.

Location: The former Clossons building in downtown Cincinnati, next to the Tower Place Mall.  This building is located on Race Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets. Click here for Mapquest directions.

 

Parking: The cost of parking can vary from $1 to $7 depending upon the time of day, hours parked, and parking garage.  Click here for a link to downtown parking garages and rates. Look for $1 PARK signs.

  • Fountain Square Garage North - Between 6th & 5th Sts. Enter from Vine St. (Northbound) between 5th & 6th Streets. 620 total spaces $1 after 5pm on weekdays and Saturday & Sundays, 2-hour rate: $1, 3-hour rate: $3 before 5pm.

  • 5th & Race Lot - Corner of 5th & Race Sts. Across 5th Street from Saks Fifth Avenue. 2-hour rate: $1.00 3-hour rate: $3.00

Food & Drinks: Tower Place Mall is located across the street and has a food court.

Admission Cost: Just $1. Scholastic exhibitors and children under 10 admitted free.  No admission cost during the awards presentation night on February 4th.
